What Makes Below Deck Mediterranean So Good?

If you're looking for a new binge-worthy show, look no further than Below Deck Mediterranean. This reality series achieves a perfect blend of drama, luxury, and stunning views. The show follows a crew working on a mega yacht during charter season as they cater to the opulent lifestyles of the rich and famous. Each episode is packed with excitement as the team faces unique challenges, from high-maintenance guests to equipment malfunctions.

The Allure of Mega Yachts

Mega yachts serve as the backdrop for the series, offering viewers a glimpse into a world few can truly experience. While the idea of living on a floating palace seems exhilarating, it's worth diving into the reality of mega yacht ownership. Can anyone actually afford these extravagant vessels? Well, the short answer is: not really! With prices ranging from millions to hundreds of millions of dollars, mega yachts are symbols of wealth that are typically accessible only to the ultra-rich. However, Below Deck Mediterranean makes it easy to dream about that lifestyle.

Drama, Reality, and the Emotional Rollercoaster

What sets Below Deck Mediterranean apart from other reality shows is its authentic portrayal of interpersonal relationships. The crew consists of multi-faceted individuals, each bringing their own story to the table. Whether it’s romantic tension, career aspirations, or simply the pressures of being on a luxury yacht, the series reveals the highs and lows of working in such an environment. This emotional rollercoaster keeps viewers glued to their screens, eagerly anticipating what will happen next. It feels real and relatable, making it hard not to get invested in the characters' journeys.

If you haven't yet jumped on the Below Deck Mediterranean bandwagon, now's the time! With its extravagant settings, relatable characters, and jaw-dropping drama, it's the perfect escape for anyone looking to unwind. You might not be able to afford a mega yacht, but you can certainly enjoy watching others navigate the complicated waters of luxury living!

My Thoughts

I have been watching a lot of Below Deck Mediterranean and the other ones too but Med is like one of my favorite shows. It that calms me down. Makes me happy. I love seeing the different places that they go to and not gonna lie there are some cuties on there and it is cool to see these strong men/women moving things around.

With me being a Virgo, #virgoseason the idea of a 5 STAR + yachting experience sounds amazing.

Below are some things that if or when me and my girl decide to go on a yacht, we just may not be happy with that that’s all. hahaha

  • · The team folding our towels on the floor and bathroom floor

  • · Hair dangling over the food

  • · Flies in the galley and food not being covered.

  • · Cleaning the toilet with no gloves and then going to go fix my bed.

  • · We wouldn’t want the first charter because there’s so many lessons to be learned and I’d freak out over the galley and its cleanliness on the first second charter. Hearing the chefs are hilarious but I think they definitely make do.

  • · Things that need to be refrigerated and they are transported to a beach outing, and it just looks like it would hurt my stomach if it’s not to the right temp. I think I saw potato or a pasta salad sitting directly in the sun.

  • · Not sure how I feel about the eggs, always sitting out maybe taste the same, but I’m nervous about that. Sorry I am US I know other places or the way the egg was handled prior makes a difference.

  • · Chefs that have cuts on their hands and dig into different types of meats with no gloves.

  • · Crew wearing their uniforms in bed during a break and may have to go cook food or be around food!

  • · Cleaning bathrooms, barefoot, and then walking around my room.

I also understand that a lot of this can be just editing. But somethings you see in each season and be like um okay now there is a pattern or trend here.

You all truly do work so hard and it is just thoughts on how I would like my charter to be. Hahahaha I think you guys are amazing and your tips definitely are earned.
